During college, we were asked to take photos around manchester city centre and create pieces inspired by kate Ballis' work which, if you havent seen, tends to create high contrast images taken around towns with alot of pink and purples. out of all the pieces i did with this method, this image of outside manchesters china town was 100% my favorate.
During this year, ive been obsessed with digital collaging and body horror (though i dont think the word suits my stuff paticularly, it is the technical descriptor)
the first one shown was my attempt at remaking a smiliar piece i made back in college for my second years final major project. i did try and change bits and pieces, mostly, i added a haze and noise filter onto the background exclusively, aswell as changing the colours to try and make it look disorientating, almost like a dream!
i suppose this should be (and will be feautred in) my university work, however i am VERY proud of it, to the point i posted these, the experiments, on instagram! theese are just my experients for the project, though!
